Jim Liang
Chairman of the Board of Directors
Mr. Jim Liang is an investor in early stage technology and technology-enabled services companies. He currently serves on the board of directors of Archer, Inc., Innovolt, Inc., and Medical Tracking Solutions, Inc. (d/b/a iTraycer). Mr. Liang brings to these companies over 30 years of experience working in the technology industry as well as strategy, finance, and corporate development expertise gained from working with a wide range of large, global companies. From 2008 to 2011, Mr. Liang served as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Amdocs, Ltd., a publicly-traded global provider of software and services for billing, customer relationship management, and operations support systems. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Liang served as the Chief Strategy Officer for IBM Corporation’s $30+ billion Global Technology Services (GTS) Division. Prior to joining IBM, Mr. Liang spent 21 years as an investment banker, including 12 years at Morgan Stanley, where he served as the Head of the Global Technology Banking Group from 1996 through 2003. During his career as a banker, Mr. Liang worked exclusively with small and large technology companies on a broad range of financing and strategic assignments. Mr. Liang is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, Brown University (Sc.B. in Applied Mathematics/Economics), and The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (MBA in Finance/Marketing).
Jonathan Tillman
Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining Medical Tracking Solutions, Mr. Jonathan Tillman spent 11 years in the medical device industry helping to build outsourcing companies focused on inventory management. He spent 10 years at Millstone Medical Outsourcing in various roles within sales, marketing, account management, and operations. He was responsible for establishing and managing the company’s loaner kit processing program and warehousing and distribution facility in Memphis, TN. More recently, Mr. Tillman worked for Life Science Outsourcing, helping to build a decontamination, sterilization, and inventory management division within the company. Prior to joining Millstone, he worked for Yahoo! and was responsible for launching and managing the company’s Washington, DC, Hotjobs.com sales office. Mr. Tillman graduated from Georgetown University where he earned All Big East honors as a member of the varsity track team.
Ben Grimes
Director
Mr. Ben Grimes brings to Medical Product Tracking, Inc. (d/b/a iTraycer) more than 20 years of experience in the information technology industry, including experience in product development, operations, and corporate business development. His expertise provides great insight to the Medical Tracking Solutions board of directors. Currently, Mr. Grimes is the Chief Technology Officer for Innovolt, a leader in the power protection industry. Prior to Innovolt, he served three years as Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Chief Technical Officer of Avocent Corporation until its acquisition by Emerson in 2010. During his tenure, Mr. Grimes was responsible for leading the product and business development of Avocent, including the entire worldwide engineering team. Before joining Avocent, he spent 17 years at IBM. Mr. Grimes was a Distinguished Engineer, a distinction reserved for a very small percentage of all IBM engineers, from 2002 to 2007. In that role, he was lead architect for software development for IBM’s xSeries servers and blades. Prior to 2002, Mr. Grimes also served as IBM's global lead engineer and manager for embedded systems management for xSeries and was a programmer in embedded firmware. While at IBM, he was awarded nine patents for his innovations in systems software. Mr. Grimes received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and a Masters in Business Administration from the College of William and Mary.
Derace Schaffer

Dr. Derace Schaffer, MD is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the LAN Group, a venture capital firm specializing in healthcare and technology investments. Dr. Schaffer has either founded or co-founded more than 20 companies, both public and private, and he currently sits on the Board of Directors of three public companies in addition to Medical Tracking Solutions. He completed his postgraduate medical training at the Harvard Medical School and at Massachusetts General Hospital where he was Chief Resident. Dr. Schaffer has been a Professor at both the University of Rochester School of Medicine and the Cornell School of Medicine. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Medical Honor Society.
